Cancellation and refund policies for all our services

Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Introduction

This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all paid services purchased on Practitionist platforms ("[LEGAL NAME - TO BE UPDATED AFTER REGISTRATION]"), including:

  • Familiarise - Expert consultations, classes, webinars, and subscriptions
  • Tiringly - Courses, mentorship sessions, and premium subscriptions
  • Noteups - Premium features (Coming Soon)

By purchasing any service, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

2. Familiarise Refund Policy

2.1 1-on-1 Consultations

  • 24+ hours before session: Full refund
  • 12-24 hours before session: 50% refund
  • Less than 12 hours: No refund
  • No-show by learner: No refund
  • No-show by expert: Full refund or free reschedule

2.2 Classes and Webinars

  • 48+ hours before event: Full refund
  • 24-48 hours before event: 50% refund
  • Less than 24 hours: No refund
  • Event cancelled by organizer: Full refund

2.3 Subscription Plans

  • Cancel anytime - access continues until the period ends
  • No partial refunds for unused subscription time
  • First-time subscribers may request refund within 7 days if service was unsatisfactory

3. Tiringly Refund Policy

3.1 Courses and Projects

  • Within 7 days AND less than 25% completed: Full refund
  • After 7 days OR more than 25% completed: No refund
  • Completion is measured by lessons/modules accessed

3.2 Mentorship Sessions

  • Same policy as Familiarise 1-on-1 consultations
  • 24+ hours before: Full refund
  • 12-24 hours before: 50% refund
  • Less than 12 hours: No refund

3.3 Premium Subscriptions

  • Cancel anytime - access continues until the period ends
  • No partial refunds for unused subscription time
  • First-time subscribers may request refund within 7 days

3.4 Career Services

  • Resume review: Refund available if not started within 48 hours
  • Mock interviews: Same policy as mentorship sessions
  • No refunds after service delivery has begun

4. General Refund Eligibility

4.1 Eligible for Refund

  • Technical Issues: Platform was inaccessible for extended periods due to our fault
  • Duplicate Charges: You were charged multiple times for the same service
  • Unauthorized Charges: Charges made without your authorization (requires verification)
  • Service Not Delivered: Expert/instructor failed to deliver the booked service
  • Quality Issues: Service significantly differed from description (case-by-case review)

4.2 Not Eligible for Refund

  • Change of mind after the refund window
  • Failure to cancel before auto-renewal
  • Violation of Terms & Conditions leading to account termination
  • Services already consumed or completed
  • Downloaded or accessed digital content
  • Dissatisfaction with learning outcomes (we don't guarantee specific results)

5. How to Request a Refund

5.1 Refund Request Process

  1. Email our support team at support@practitionist.com
  2. Include your account email and order/transaction ID
  3. Specify which platform and service (Familiarise/Tiringly)
  4. Explain the reason for your refund request
  5. Attach any relevant documentation or screenshots

5.2 Processing Time

  • Refund requests are reviewed within 3-5 business days
  • Approved refunds are processed within 7-10 business days
  • Refunds are credited to the original payment method
  • Bank processing may take an additional 5-7 business days

Note: Refunds are processed through Razorpay and will appear on your statement within 5-10 business days depending on your bank.

6. Cancellation of Services

6.1 How to Cancel Subscriptions

  1. Log in to your account on the respective platform
  2. Go to Settings or Account → Subscription/Billing
  3. Click "Cancel Subscription"
  4. Confirm your cancellation

6.2 How to Cancel Booked Sessions

  1. Go to your dashboard → Upcoming Sessions/Appointments
  2. Find the session you want to cancel
  3. Click "Cancel" and confirm
  4. Refund will be processed based on the cancellation policy

7. Expert/Instructor Cancellations

If an expert or instructor cancels a session:

  • You will receive a full refund OR free rescheduling option
  • Refunds are automatically processed within 48 hours
  • You will be notified via email about the cancellation

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cancellation & Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Existing purchases will be honored under the terms at the time of purchase unless you agree to new terms.
